5. Scene Writing
A screenplay has two parts - the dialogue and the descriptive passages. Script readers always approach a new script with the three 'ums'. First, they check the length, next they open the script at random to see if it is properly and professionally typed. Finally, they flick through the pages for an idea of the amount of black stuff (descriptive passages) to dialogue.
